Goblet of Fire Update (spoilers, but not too much)

26 days until Goblet of Fire hits theatres. From what I've seen, this looks to be the best Harry Potter movie yet. There's a pretty good synopsis of the movie linked from www.mugglenet.com, they highlights of which I'll share here:

What to prepare for:
Even if you don't want to read spoilers, you should read this part. Be prepared to be disappointed with Dumbledore. This actor, as partly expressed in the last movie, has him completely wrong. Be very prepared to be extremely disappointed with Dumbledore. I can't stress that enough, especially after we've all just read book 6. It's not so much the performance, as the actor just has his motivations completely, utterly, wrong.

There's a lot cut out. Not surprising since it's a big book. But this is the longest film yet (by a small margin longer than the 2nd film). The house elves are not in it. Percy, Charlie, and Bill Weasley are out. The Dursleys are out. Bagman is also not in it. The Quidditch World Cup is almost entirely out, with only introductions made. (Mark, there's apparently a very brief scene with Krum flying, but I doubt it's much). Most of the class scenes are out, with only Moody's "unforgiveable curses" lesson in.

That being said, they do at least make an attempt to explain what happens in the movie (compared to no attempt at all in PoA) even if the explanations aren't what's in the book.

What's in, and what's cool:
The scene with the Death Eaters and the Dark Mark at the Quidditch World Cup is in. And they're very scary.
All 3 challenges are in, the scene with the Dragon is expanded (the Dragon escapes and chases Harry all over the grounds). The scene in the bathroom with Harry and Myrtle is in, Rita Skeeter is in it (but her being an animagus is completely cut). The Yule Ball is in, and Emma Watson supposedly plays Hermione's being hurt by Ron very well. Skipping to the end, the graveyard scene is in, and it's apparently the highlight of the movie. And why it's PG-13. It's said to be very scary and very graphic. The duel with Voldemort is almost verbatim from the book. And Voldemort is spot-on, even better than in the book, and really psychotic and scary.
